What You'll Do:
- Oversee Utility billing operations and staff
- Help develop and implement efficient billing policies
- Manage financial transactions, journal entries, & work orders
- Serve as the go-to expert for utilities accounting
What are the Requirements for this Role?
- Three (3) years of accounting, fiscal auditing or double entry bookkeeping experience.
- Graduation from a program, college, university, or institution of higher learning regionally accredited through the U.S. Department of Education with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- A combination of full-time experience in accounting, fiscal auditing or double entry bookkeeping of (6) six or more years, as determined by the City,
may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.?
- Three (3) or more years of supervisory experience is preferred.
- A valid driver's license and be insurable under the City of Branson's motor vehicle coverage when operating a vehicle as a part of the position.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with expertise in Word or Google Docs, and Excel or Google Sheets.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: The starting hourly wage is $24.67 per hour and will increase to $25.65 per hour after 6 months of successful probation.

WORK HOURS: Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm
WORK LOCATION: City of Branson, Missouri; City Hall. This is an in office position requiring work to be performed onsite.
