Heavy Haul OD Permit Coordinator
Heavy Haul Permit Coordinator is accountable for the permitted movement of ATS large oversized moves. This role also handles the route identification, acquisition of proper state and local permits, along with the setup of any additional services to move loads successfully and safely. Help ensure potential delays are minimized while maximizing profits and productivity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Compute load size, identify feasible routes of travel, analyze timeliness, cost effectiveness, difficulty, and review potential concerns. Submit permit applications, and verify info matches and approved permits.

Route loads and coordinate pertinent information with fleet supervisor, providing special instructions and information to drivers transporting oversize loads, and maintaining department related informational resources.

Serve as liaison between fleet supervisors, drivers, permit services, and state agencies, to answer questions, investigate and resolve problems, and ensure permits are efficiently obtained.

Continuously seeks to improve department quality and efficiency standards by creating, updating, and/or revising department processes, and resources.

Compensation & Benefits:
- The anticipated hourly pay range for this position is between $23.00 - $30.00, in addition, this position has a specific incentive up to $2.00 per hour extra. Hourly pay rate offered is determined by relevant experience, education, certifications, and geographic location as compared to others doing substantially similar work . In addition to the hourly rate of pay, employees may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which can vary depending on individual and/or company performance.
