Job Description
M. Braun, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Systems Specialist to join our Technical Department. This person will be responsible for system test planning and execution as well as promoting functionality knowledge. This individual should be highly motivated with the ability to prioritize and work well independently and with others.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate should be extremely detail-oriented and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. This individual will be interacting with internal M. Braun employees and customers.
This individual should be able to stay focused and have the ability to apply knowledge and common sense to carry out the detailed job functions below:
- Perform and coordinate acceptance testing for standard and semi-standard systems
- Sign off on systems when testing is complete
- Review documentation for projects and plan testing activities, including writing test plans
- Train with senior personnel to test more complex systems and perform more complex testing techniques
- Identify issues on the floor to help reduce delays in production
- Write non-conformance reports
- Promote system testing knowledge in production and electrical
- Participate in Design Review meetings
- Up to 50% time spent assisting service department, including occasional service/install visits to customer sites
- Assisting with special projects (e.g. R&D projects, customer return projects, etc.)
- Any other duties required for this position
Experience Requirements
5+ years experience
Physical and Mental Requirements
- Physical Requirement: Balancing; climbing; bending; stooping; crawling; some light lifting and carrying; must have fine motor skills; be able to grasp small items; kneeling; pushing; reaching above shoulder; ability to do a repetitive motion; and the ability to sit, stand and walk for most of the day. Mobility requirement enough to move around the production area safety
- Visual Requirement: Must be able to visually read wiring diagrams & drawings; and read from a computer screen
- Hearing Requirement: Must be able to identify hazard sounds and be aware of the environment on the production floor for personal safety
- Mental Requirement: Comprehension, Organization, Reasoning, Decision Making, Communication, and Mathematics
