Junior Systems Architect/IT Engineer

What Will You Do
Infrastructure

Provide Tier 1 Desk Support to all employees by reviewing and resolving support tickets in collaboration with the Fruth Group.

Work closely with the Fruth Group on support tickets and infrastructure projects to foster effective collaboration.

Conduct weekly status meetings to discuss outstanding support tickets.

Serve as a primary contact for IT vendors and Internet Service Providers.

Review IT vendor contracts and equipment leases for approval by the CEO.

Assist in the requisition and purchase of IT equipment.

Accurately maintain an inventory of IT assets.

Contribute to assessing the organization's cybersecurity and infrastructure needs.

Organize server rooms for safety and efficiency.

Ensure that the infrastructure supports seamless business operations.
Applications Management

Maintain subscriptions for applications, including Microsoft products.

Encourage the optimal use of existing systems throughout the organization.

Assist in generating insightful reports.

Collaborate with software vendors to ensure system functionality.

Participate effectively in the implementation of new projects.
Reporting
Weekly updates that outline project progress and address any issues while sharing recommendations with executives are essential for effective reporting. Additionally, assist with tasks assigned by your supervisor to support team goals.
What Will You Need

Degree in IT infrastructure or a related technology field.

A minimum of one year of relevant experience or equivalent education.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
