Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally. Our High Speed Mezzanine Business Unit's headquarters are located in Etters, PA and we have design, sales, and manufacturing locations globally. We are currently seeking a Product Line Manager to join our team located in office in Etters, PA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Associate Product Manager will work with Product Line Manager and cross functional teams to drive the development and marketing of Amphenol's Mezzanine products. This role will be responsible for supporting Product marketing team in promoting our products to assigned market, winning key new design opportunities, and developing/executing the product strategies required to rapidly grow the business, both top and bottom line; managing NPI to production activities. The ideal candidate must be versatile, with a good blend of business and technical savvy, attention to details with strong organizational skill, and a quick learner with the ability to manage new responsibilities in a dynamic environment.  

 

  • Supporting RFQs, RFPs, as well support our internal cost/Process Engineering teams to develop a pricing strategy that achieves target profit margins at all stages of the product life cycle
  • Managing product sampling for customers including managing and communication of schedules to customers
  • Manage product PCN's
  • Monitoring on-going cost reduction and implementation
  • Assisting on product requests from customers & sales team
  • Developing marketing materials including product datasheets, press releases, and other online or printed marketing collateral
  • Ensuring quality and other functions provide timely responses to customer quality concerns
  • Developing sales and marketing tools, providing technical assistance to customers and sales team
  • Data analysis of product sales including tracking of revenue/margin by product/part number/region/customer
  • Job-related travel may be required

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with keen business acumen or equivalent technical experience.
  • 2+ years related experience, ideally within the interconnect industry
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to lead and navigate dynamic environments Technical aptitude, including ability to read mechanical drawings
  • Good communication skills, the ability to use Microsoft office (Excel and PowerPoint) proficiently, the ability to integrate with cross functional teams globally and a willingness to "roll up your sleeves" to get the job done
  • High level of accountability and ownership and a self-starter is preferred.
