House Manager
Position Summary:
We are looking for a true hospitality professional to join our Palm Beach client’s team and run the interior or their beautiful residence.\
The House Manager will oversee the interior team and coordinate with the Property Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the residence.
The clients are very interested in candidates who have experience working in luxury or boutique hotels and want to transition to private service.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a daily walkthrough, note and attend to any issues. Alert the Property Manager to any maintenance issues
- Coordinate with Housekeepers, the culinary team and other staff on the daily schedule
- Monitor and manage inventories and maintain PAR levels
- Update House Manual, SOPs, and checklists on SharePoint
- Manage household staff schedules and duties. Provide ongoing training
- Communicate any updates on principal preferences
- Assist with set-up for daily meals. Host and serve meals
- Coordinate projects and events
- Ensure florals in the residence are fresh
- Manage wardrobes and packing
- Assist with driving and errands as requested
Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in a fine home or boutique hotel with excellent verifiable references
- Strong hospitality/housekeeping/service background with an eye for detail
- Dynamic and works well under pressure
- Intuitive professional who anticipates needs
- Hard-working with demonstrated loyalty and discretion
- Computer literate, tech-savvy, and experience with Microsoft product
- Fluent English, Spanish is a plus
Schedule:
- Generally, a 5-day work week with flexibility for extended hours and additional days when needed.
Compensation:
- Compensation of $90,000 to $120,000 commensurate with experience.
