How You’ll Help Us Connect the World:

As a Welder I, you will be responsible for performing all aspects of welding including brazing and cutting using gas and electric welding equipment. This role will be based in Euless, TX.

You Will Make an Impact By:

• Planning details (procedure as well as material needed) of each task assigned.
• Fabricating equipment using gas torches or arch welders.
• Grinding components to prepare for rebuilds.
• Tacking weld parts and building up worn or defective surfaces.
• Use burning equipment to dismantle assemblies and to cut material to specified sizes.
• Follow written welding procedures, and the willingness to train in order to reach higher levels of certification.
• Follow all safety regulations, maintain a clean and orderly work area, and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required for the assigned work area(s). Follow Corporate Safety guidelines, audits, incident investigations, etc.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

• High School diploma or equivalent, recommended but not essential.
• 2 years of relevant welding experience GMAW is preferred. Previous experience with grinding and fitting
• The ability to read schematics and blueprints accompanied by knowledge of welding symbols.
• The ability to use metrics as well as standard measurements.
• A strong work ethic with a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills are required.
• Be a team player with the ability to follow instruction with little to no supervision.
