We're seeking a Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician to join our team and be part of a company that values expertise, innovation, and hands-on problem-solving. In this role, you'll perform necessary repairs, maintenance, and servicing in the FIELD—directly on customer equipment. What You'll Do:
- Field Service Excellence: Perform diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance on equipment both on company-owned and customer-owned machines in the field.
- Skill Development: Stay updated on new equipment with certifications and dealer training to keep you at the forefront of your profession.
- Hands-On Repair: Use your expertise to repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems on a variety of equipment.
- Work Flexibility: Be ready to work overtime as necessary, including evenings and weekends, to meet the demands of our customers.
- Customer Communication: Build positive, professional relationships with customers while on-site to create good will.
- Safety First: Follow all company safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment both in the field and at the shop.
What You'll Need:
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance, with expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and diagnostics.
- Education: A Diesel Technology, Ag Technology, Automotive Technology, or Heavy Equipment Technology degree, or equivalent experience.
- Fieldwork Skills: Must have a basic toolset, the ability to work in the field, and a passion for hands-on work.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and leadership.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 75 lbs. and be comfortable with extended periods of standing, walking, bending, and stretching.
- Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required, and the ability to obtain a CDL is a plus.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check, drug screen (including medical marijuana), and be authorized to work in the USA.
