Maintenance Support Technician

This position is primarily responsible for organizing the Maintenance Stock rooms, entering the maintenance inventory into the supplies section of the Fiix CMMS system, with additional expectations of flexibility to support some facility or maintenance needs as situations may arise/dictate.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Organizing, labeling all maintenance stockrooms
• Data entry of the maintenance parts inventory into the Fiix CMMS system.
• Entering incoming stock as it arrives into the Fiix CMMS System as well as putting away all new incoming stock.
• Assist Maintenance Technicians as required.
• Perform a variety of other maintenance activities on a reactive daily basis. These activities do not require expertise such as certifications but are highly desirable: facility housekeeping.
• Self-Starter capable of managing daily activities with minimal supervision.
• This position may require overtime in order to complete assigned projects.
• Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
   

Requirements:

• High school Diploma or an equivalent degree such as a GED
• Prior experience not required
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to work standing for extended periods of time
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. safely          
• Familiarity with standard OSHA safety procedures and requirements.        
• Basic computer skills - Microsoft Office-Outlook/Word/Excel.
• Ability to information into a Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS)
• Must have excellent communication skills and ability/flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.
