Intake Coordinator - Bilingual Spanish

Job Summary:

The Early Intervention Intake Coordinator will play a pivotal role in our organization by serving as the first point of contact for families seeking services. This role requires strong organizational skills, a commitment to service excellence, and a passion for helping children and families navigate the intake process. You will be responsible for managing referrals, gathering necessary information, and ensuring that families are connected to the appropriate service departments in a timely and efficient manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for families and referral sources seeking Early Intervention or CPSE services.
  • Conduct intake and track all incoming referrals, ensuring that all necessary information is obtained and accurate.
  • Provide clear communication to families about the intake process, available services, and next steps.
  • Using databases and applications to enter data and run reports.
  • Must be organized and able to multitask.
  • Respond to inquiries for services through website submissions, phone calls/voicemails
  • Participate in community events.
  • Meet the weekly goals of intakes conducted for new/returning referrals.
  • Explain programs that Achieve Beyond offers to families, community personnel, referral sources, etc.

Physical Requirements of the Role:

  • Must be able to travel to and from assigned work events including but not limited to driving personal vehicle, walking, and/or use of public transportation such as a bus or train.
  • Occasionally ascends/descends stairs going to, while at, or leaving work location or facilities traveled to for work events.
  • Occasionally moving and/or lifting objects at work weighing up to 20 pounds such as files or copy paper.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time up to 90% of the work day working on a computer/electronic device.
  • The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
  • The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
