About the Role
As a Maintenance Sales Representative, you will be responsible for achieving an annual booking plan by developing new business, expanding existing customer accounts, and building long-term relationships through effective sales strategy and service excellence.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Sell and close an annual sales plan in designated territory at company-approved pricing standards.
- Qualify prospects and present proposals that effectively address customer needs.
- Conduct surveys of electrical systems and develop service proposals based on findings.
- Expand service agreements with existing customers.
- Identify and follow up with new prospects, referrals, and leads.
- Respond to and resolve customer concerns promptly.
- Manage maintenance agreement price escalations and customer salvage plans.
- Support the credit and collections process in coordination with internal teams.
- Collaborate positively with internal departments, field personnel, and management.
- Represent the company professionally with external partners and customers.
- Prepare accurate, clear, and timely reports, proposals, and booking documentation.
- Apply a strategic sales presentation process, anticipating objections and decision timelines.
- Assist with special projects as assigned by the manager.

We are looking for someone with the following competencies:
- Associate degree or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of skills and experience.
- 1-6 years of related experience in sales, electrical systems, or technical services.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Ability to prepare reports, proposals, and professional correspondence.
- Proficiency in MS Office; ability to learn new software platforms.
- Strong problem-solving, reasoning, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

An employee's compensation level within the range will be based on several factors, including but not limited to geographic location, experience, relevant education, qualifications, skills, organizational needs, and performance. *Bonus pay based on percentage of salary, adjusted by company and individual performance.
