About the Role

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing designated construction projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves coordinating with internal teams and external partners while fostering client relationships.
 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The following duties are associated with a Project Manager - Level 1

  • Maintain and enhance customer relationships, identifying opportunities for continued partnership and growth.
  • Support project estimation and proposal development using Accubid software.
  • Review project scope and develop execution strategies, resource plans, and timelines.
  • Work with supervisor to review project review project proposal or plan to determine time frame, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
  • Monitor and enforce safety policies and practices on assigned projects.
  • Utilize project management software to update and maintain: Estimate Logs, Labor Tracking, Change Orders, RFIs and Transmittals, Monthly Financial Reporting
  • Update schedule of values and work with Project Assistant to coordinate billing processes.
  • Prepare and review submittals, shop drawings, and design-build documentation.
  • Manage the change order process, including generation and negiotation.
  • Maintain consistent contact with general contractors, consultants, and clients.
  • Ensure permitting and regulatory compliance is met for all active projects.
  • Manage vendor and subcontractor compliance and performance.
  • Support and collaborate with field supervision teams.
  • Works with the team to manage the project lien process and ensure risk mitigation through proper documentation.

To perform the job of Project Manager - Level 2 successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following duties in addition to all of the Project Manager - Level 1 requirements:

  • Manages and supports the proposal and estimate process using Accubid software.
  • Review project proposal or plan to determine time frame, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
  • Establish work plan - staffing for each phase of project and arranging for assignment of project personnel.
  • Review contract language and manage negotiations with customers.
  • Create and maintain schedule of values and work with the project assistant to ensure complete billings.
  • Manage the project's lien process and ensure risk mitigation through proper documentation.

  • Develop leadership capacity and contribute to mentoring junior project team members.

We are looking for someone with the following competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or 2+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheet, Bluebeam, and project management software.
  • Strong mathematical, analytical and planning skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents and communicate effectively with teams and clients.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to coordinate people, timelines, and deliverables effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and partnership with clients and stakeholders, and supports team growth and a positive, inclusive culture.
  • Experience with identifying and resolving issues efficiently; adaptable to new challenges.
  • Ability to align project goals with broader company and client objectives.

Compensation (Pay Range): $100,000-$150,000 annually (DOE)

 

An employee's compensation level within the range will be based on several factors, including but not limited to geographic location, experience, relevant education, qualifications, skills, organizational needs, and performance. *Bonus pay based on percentage of salary, adjusted by company and individual performance.
