How You'll Help Us Connect the World:

As a Business Analytics (BA) Intern, you will report directly to the Manager of Business Analytics. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to develop your data analysis, SQL, and Power BI skills while gaining hands-on experience within a Business Intelligence (BI) reporting environment. You will be exposed to the Extract, Transformation, and Load (ETL) processes used in the Andrew data warehouse and work closely with the team to support and enhance data-driven decision-making. This is a summer intern position based hybrid out of our Richardson, Texas office. Expected dates of the internship are May 19, 2025 - August 8, 2025 or June 2, 2025 - August 22, 2025 (based on selected candidate's availability).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and apply SQL skills to analyze Business Objects (BO) and Power BI (PBI) usage data
• Research and report on Microsoft's integration of Copilot into Power BI
• Assist in the monitoring and production support of ETL processes
• Prepare and deliver presentations summarizing your findings and insights
• Participate in weekly one-on-one meetings with the BA Manager
• Attend weekly staff meetings to provide progress updates to the broader BA team

Education & Skills Requirements:

• High school diploma
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program
• Pursuing a degree in an analytical field such as Information Technology, Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Strong analytical thinking and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
• Prior experience with databases, SQL, and reporting tools is a plus
• Knowledge or understanding of data warehousing concepts and cloud-based solutions is advantageous
• Candidates should be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
