Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

Summary

We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team at our manufacturing facility. This part-time role is responsible for managing the front desk, greeting visitors, answering calls, and providing administrative support to various departments. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and able to handle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist visitors, clients, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and accurately.
  • Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor badges as needed.
  • Accurately enter data and maintain timely updates.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Customer Service team.
  • Perform filing, archiving, and other office duties as needed.
  • Support other departments with data entry, filing, and document management.
  • Keep the front desk area tidy and presentable.
  • Handle general inquiries and route messages to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with scheduling and room bookings for meetings.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a receptionist or administrative role preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment a plus.
