Customer Service Associate

Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and personable Customer Service Associate (CSA) to join our team in Wallingford, CT. In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting the Customer Service department with invoicing, data entry, administrative tasks, and reporting. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Distribute daily invoices to customer accounts via email

  • Accurately enter data and maintain timely updates

  • Provide general administrative support to the Customer Service team

  • Perform filing, archiving, and other office duties as needed

  • Coordinate and fulfill customer data requests for Times

  • Prepare and distribute daily internal reports

  • Manage front desk operations, including switchboard duties and visitor access

  • Facilitate the completion of customer certifications and representations through TMS

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience required

  • 1-3 years' experience in customer service and/or inside sales

  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

  • Effective communication skills—both written and verbal

  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred)

  • Proficiency in managing communications across multiple platforms (phone, email, etc.)

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
