Financial Analyst

UB Greensfelder currently has an opening for a full-time Financial Analyst to join our Accounting Department working in the St. Louis, Cleveland or Cincinnati office. This position is eligible for hybrid work after the initial onboarding period.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

• Prepare, develop and streamline reporting for month-end close, annual revenue and operating budget, and for the firm's pricing and profitability function.
• Assist with reporting for annual timekeeper review processes. 
• Complete special studies of trend and variance analysis of key financial metrics.
• Analyze firm Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), providing qualitative observations to quantitative data.
• Support the annual firm budget process. Partner with budget holders to review budgets on a quarterly basis.
• Prepare quarterly financial and weekly cash flow projections.
• Work with Partners on client pricing / fee arrangements.
• Prepare and review data requests for key business and economic surveys.
• Respond to internal requests for data analysis.
• Other projects as assigned.

 

Qualified Applicants Will Have:

• Accounting or Finance Bachelor's Degree required, CFA certification or an MBA a plus.
• 4+ years' related experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
• Outstanding attention to detail, organizational and time management skills.
• Strong financial, analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Aderant and BigSquare software experience is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills with solid technical understanding of financial and report writing systems.
• Ability to interact with members of management on a professional level and demonstrate high levels of confidentiality and discretion.
