Engineer III, Automation
JD:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
2. More than 5 years’ experience in automation system development; experience in implementing automation solutions in cable assembly is preferred.
3. High skill in SolidWorks, CAD software for designing and documenting mechanical and electrical systems.
4. High skill in creating schematics, programming PLCs, HMI interfaces and industrial communication protocols. Experienced in PCB design is preferred.
5. Strong knowledge of software automation, robotic process automation (RPA) and Vision systems.
6. Familiarity with AI tools, machine learning algorithms.
7. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make recommendations for improving automation systems.
8. Skilled reading, written and spoken English.
9. Team player, diligent and result oriented.
Key Responsibility:
1. Developing Automation Systems, including selecting appropriate robots, sensors, actuators and equipment, developing software, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
2. Testing and validating automated systems: Identifying and resolving issues with automation systems, ensuring that the systems maintain a consistent quality level and reduce time to market.
3. Documentation: Creating and maintaining documentation for automation systems, including schematics, operating manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
4. Safety Compliance: Ensuring that automation systems meet safety standards and regulations.
5. Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and performance of existing automation systems. Eliminating defects and errors with product and software development.
6. Researching and designing automation technology; Exploring and implementing new ways to automate systems.
