Office Specialist

Part spreadsheet sorcerer, part tech whisperer, the Office Specialist is the glue that keeps the IT Department together.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and work breakdown structures.
  • Track progress against milestones and report deviations.
  • Help translate business needs into technical specifications.
  • Identify and help mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Help streamline workflows and suggest process improvements to increase efficiency.
 
.What are the Minimum Qualifications:
  • A High School diploma or GED Equivalent is required.
  • Minimum three (3) years of administrative support of project management experience in a professional office setting is required.
  • A Bachelor's Degree from an institution of higher learning accredited by the Department of Education through one of its regional accrediting agencies is required; primary focus of education must be in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a directly related discipline is required.  An additional four (4) years of experience in Business Administration or Information Technology may be substituted for the degree requirement per the Director and Human Resources Director's discretion.
  • At least 18, have a valid driver's license, and be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Someone who brings integrity, initiative, and a strong work ethic—plus the ability to work independently.
  • Great communication, strong organization, sound judgment, and a commitment to excellent customer service are key.
  • Safety-minded and team-oriented—working alongside leadership to support department goals and make a real impact.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:  The starting hourly wage is $26.17 per hour and will increase to $27.22 per hour after 6 months of successful probation.

WORK HOURS:        Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm
WORK LOCATION:  City of Branson, Missouri; City Hall.  This is an in office position requiring work to be performed onsite.
