Housekeeper

Position Summary:

We are seeking a professional Housekeeper for an executive couple with school-aged children in Coconut Grove. They are a busy family that values kindness and loyalty.

 

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a large private residence and will work seamlessly with the existing household staff to ensure the home is maintained to the highest standards.

 

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily and deep cleaning tasks, this is a hands-on role
• Maintain the family's bedrooms
• Perform laundry duties including handwashing and pressing
• Pack and unpack the family for travel
• Perform daily walkthroughs
• Manage and work alongside the other Housekeepers
• Assist the team with gracious entertaining

 

Qualifications:

• Prior experience working as a Housekeeper in a fine home
• Excellent, verifiable references.
• Exceptional hands-on cleaning and laundry skills are required.
• Strong management skills; brings out the best in other staff members
• Self-starter who enjoys their work
• Positive and pleasant personality

 

Schedule:

General work schedule is Friday - Tuesday, 1:30 – 9:30 pm with the flexibility to accommodate some changes in the schedule. This is a full-time, year-round position.

 

Compensation:

Compensation of $45 per hour offered, plus an annual discretionary bonus. The benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k), 15 days paid time off; 5 sick days, paid holidays.
