Special Educator Administrative Specialist

Job Summary: The Special Educator Administrative Specialist is responsible for working collaboratively with the CPSE IEP Manager and Program Director to ensure all children receiving SEIT services through CPSE Department receive high quality services which meet all state, County and federal expectations.  This individual MUST hold a valid:
Students with Disabilities Birth to Second Grade Certification
All Grades Certification
Special Education Permanent Certification 
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct quality assurance responsibilities including, but not limited to, internal case audits, parent surveys and review of concerns regarding cases.
Working closely with SEIT supervisors in the field to ensure all paperwork is processed in a timely manner.
Conduct data entry responsibilities as needed
Review and analyze available reports regarding the consistent provision of services and report regularly to the IEP Manager and Program Director
Conduct regular monitoring of therapist productivity to ensure approved services are provided consistently and communicate any identified concerns to the appropriate IEP Manager or Case Manager. 
Troubleshoot any issues that may arise throughout the life of a case.
Conduct trainings and/or workshops for clinical team as needed
Remain current and ensure all cases meet state and county regulations
Provide any needed coverage or assistance to the CPSE Department as needed
Attend CPSE meetings as needed
Other duties as assigned by Director
 
Physical Requirements of the Role:
·         Must be able to travel to and from assigned work events including but not limited to driving personal vehicle, walking, and/or use of public transportation such as a bus or train.
·         Occasionally ascends/descends stairs going to, while at, or leaving work location or facilities traveled to for work events.
·         Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time up to 90% of the work day working on a computer/electronic device.
·         The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
