Courtney is a Penn State graduate with a degree in Communications who has built a well-rounded and resilient career in sales, account management, and client relationship development. She began her professional journey in tech sales and recruiting with Insight Global, where she gained foundational experience in account management, cold calling, and client fulfillment. Seeking more stability, she transitioned to ADP where she was promoted from Account Executive to Senior AE. In this role, she focused on consultative selling across healthcare, payroll, and workers' compensation, eventually managing a team of four. Unfortunately, her time at ADP ended due to COVID-related layoffs.
Following ADP, Courtney moved into advertising and startup environments, continuing her focus on account management. At Zapp and Structured, she faced company-wide layoffs due to market performance and shifts in business models. At Ogilvy, she supported internal operations and client satisfaction before another round of layoffs. During this time, she also began pursuing her passion for fitness by launching a side business in coaching and fitness instruction—helping others meet their health goals through motivation and personalized support.
Currently, Courtney serves as a Senior Account Manager at Candid Network, a tech startup where she manages eight clients daily and leads a small team of account coordinators. She ensures smooth communication and project delivery across teams. However, as a highly people-oriented professional, she feels limited by the fully remote environment and is seeking a more stable, face-to-face role—motivating her to pursue a career in pharmaceutical sales.
Notable Accomplishments:
- Turned around a major client relationship at Candid: Took over a health and wellness account that was about to churn and transformed it into one of the company’s strongest partnerships—she is now their preferred rep.
- Promoted at ADP from AE to Sr. AE and led a team of four, consistently demonstrating leadership and results-driven performance.
- Overcame multiple market and company challenges through adaptability and a commitment to building lasting, trust-based relationships.
Courtney attributes her success to her ability to connect with others on a deeper, intuitive level, making people feel like they’re the only person in the room. Her confidence, grit, and drive allow her to walk into any situation ready to lead, close, or support. She’s persistent, emotionally intelligent, and laser-focused on finding clients’ true needs through empathetic and genuine conversations—not scripted pitches.
