This administrative assistant will specialize in a dual role performing intake for to support its Lead Hazard Reduction/Healthy Homes and Housing Choice Voucher programs. This position is responsible for processing applications, collecting and verifying documentation, maintaining client files, performing data entry, eligibility determinations, and providing customer service to applicants and the public. The Specialist will also help coordinate inspections, support outreach efforts, and serve as back up to the front desk.
Qualified candidates will have strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and at least two years of experience in human services or customer service—preferably with direct client interaction. Bilingual (Spanish-English) skills are preferred. A high school diploma is required; an associate degree or equivalent training is strongly preferred. Valid Iowa driver's license and reliable transportation required.
Post offer physical and drug screen required. Residency is required within 30 air miles of Muscatine City limits within six months of employment.
