How You'll Help Us Connect the World:

As a Trade Compliance Analyst I, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, auditing and reporting data on import/export activity of ANDREW. Your duties will include reviewing and updating the company's procedures documents for your scope of responsibilities; completing import/export recordkeeping requirements for the US; daily oversight and internal auditing of our US Import Entries which encompasses verifying all critical data elements including, but not limited to, correct valuation and classification, duty reduction applications and country of origin verification, special tariff applications and partner government agency applications.

This role classified as a remote worker.

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Gathering, analyzing and storing import data for US import compliance and verifying a complete scope and dataset for all US Customs Brokers via ftp connections, downloading the pdf files and verifying via ACE Reports.
  • Gathering and analyzing import and post import data for compliant, auditable imports.
  • Work with 3rd party auditing company or contracted US Import Customs Brokers to resolve or correct entry issues.
  • Create and/or update operating procedures as needed.
  • Review, and audit as appropriate, import data for accuracy and oversight.
  • Assist in the response to notices of penalties, summonses, subpoenas, and government agency questionnaires.
  • Maintain such records as are required by other import laws, as identified and appropriate. I.E., import recordkeeping.
  • Run ACE Reports, where required.
  • Assist with the review and authentication of all certificates of origin (including USMCA).
  • Other requests from Trade Compliance Management.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

  • 3-5 years of related experience in the industry.
  • Trade compliance certification or license desired but not required (e.g., Customs broker's license or equivalent)
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills that can transcend multiple organizational levels
  • Excellent analytical skills. Ability to think tactically and strategically
  • Good team player, and consensus builder
  • Effective in cross-cultural environment
  • Must be able to work efficiently and measurably in a remote work environment
  • Must be able to multi-task, when required
  • Must be able to work independently and govern/manage assigned workload
