Engineer II, Mechanical

How You'll Help Us Connect the World:

Be responsible for evaluate technical requirements of key critical mechanical/electro-mechanical components and develop specifications for key components.

Be responsible for feasibility studies and tests new modified designs. May direct support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing and prototype fabrication.

Be responsible for modeling and producing specific parts of new products.

Familiar with engineering design of mechanical enclosure and structural solutions, with emphasis on thermal management and Mechanical Assembly.

Familiar with structure simulation software, such as solid works simulation or ANSYS workbench.

Provide technical support to operation line, such as solving problems in batch production from design aspect.

Acts as a key contributor within a project team. Direct or coordinate work of drafters, technicians and other non-exempt personnel. Provide mentoring / suggestion to junior engineers from both technical and project management perspectives!

 

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

A completed bachelor’s degree in engineering field required.

Five (5) plus years of experience with bachelor’s degree or three (3) plus years of experience with master’s degree in industry specific mechanical/structural design.

Good command of written and spoken English

Proven experience in analysis and design of enclosure/structural design

Experience in developments of products from components to higher level assemblies.

Experience in engineering validation, testing and debugging.

Working knowledge of thermal analysis tools and lab test equipment.

Excellent problem solving, team play, and interpersonal communication skills are essential.

 

You Will Excite Us If You Have:

Master´s Degree in Engineering or related disciplined preferred.

Working experience in structure simulation software is preferred.
