Summary:
The Human Resource & Recruitment Specialist role will support Talent Acquisition and Employee Onboarding and Readiness. This role is ideal for an individual who has a background in both recruitment and broader HR functions, with a strong customer service mindset.
Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
Partner with the Talent Acquisition Lead to support job postings, candidate sourcing and interview coordination.
- Manage end-to-end scheduling of interviews (virtual and onsite), including pre-meetings and debriefs.
- Coordinate candidate travel and manage their related expenses.
- Ensure a seamless candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and metrics; assist with offer letters and candidate outcomes.
HR Operations & Employee Readiness
- Support the Sr. HR Generalist with onboarding processes including new hire pre-employment requirements, orientation, documentation and day one readiness.
- Audit I-9s and manage E-Verify compliance.
- Assist with employment changes (new hires, terminations, job changes) and checklist completion.
- Assist with service recognition programs.
Compliance & Special Projects
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HR policies and procedures.
- Support safety initiatives and workers’ compensation tracking as required.
- Assist with HR-related projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-years of experience in recruitment and HR support.
- Prior experience with recruitment for management, technical and administrative skillsets is preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Talent Acquisition software experience required.
- High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
- Customer-focused with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
