Summary:

The Human Resource & Recruitment Specialist role will support Talent Acquisition and Employee Onboarding and Readiness. This role is ideal for an individual who has a background in both recruitment and broader HR functions, with a strong customer service mindset. 

Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

Partner with the Talent Acquisition Lead to support job postings, candidate sourcing and interview coordination.

  • Manage end-to-end scheduling of interviews (virtual and onsite), including pre-meetings and debriefs.
  • Coordinate candidate travel and manage their related expenses.
  • Ensure a seamless candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records and metrics; assist with offer letters and candidate outcomes.

HR Operations & Employee Readiness

  • Support the Sr. HR Generalist with onboarding processes including new hire pre-employment requirements, orientation, documentation and day one readiness.
  • Audit I-9s and manage E-Verify compliance.
  • Assist with employment changes (new hires, terminations, job changes) and checklist completion.
  • Assist with service recognition programs.

Compliance & Special Projects

  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Support safety initiatives and workers’ compensation tracking as required.
  • Assist with HR-related projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-years of experience in recruitment and HR support.
  • Prior experience with recruitment for management, technical and administrative skillsets is preferred.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.  Talent Acquisition software experience required. 
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Customer-focused with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
