Compensation: Base Salary 40-55K +Draw 20-40K (Compensation is based on skill set, territory expectations, experience)   

Expected first year compensation: 60-95K 

Effective Start Date: Two weeks from offer

About the Job 

Southeastern Equipment is hiring a Territory Sales Representative (TSR) to join our growing team. This is a high-impact, field-based sales role focused on expanding our presence within a designated territory. Ideal candidates are early in their careers (0–5 years of experience), eager to grow, and highly motivated by performance-based earnings. 

You'll be responsible for building customer relationships, managing equipment sales opportunities, and becoming a trusted resource for construction and industrial clients.

What You'll Do 

  • Develop and maintain customer relationships across your territory 

  • Identify and close equipment sales opportunities (new, used, rental) 

  • Prospect for new business and re-engage inactive accounts 

  • Promote our products and services with clear value-based messaging 

  • Collaborate with internal teams (service, parts, credit, marketing) 

  • Maintain detailed records and activities in the CRM 

  • Stay informed on industry trends, products, and competitors 

  • Participate in customer demos, trade events, and vendor training

What We're Looking For 

  • 0–5 years of experience in sales, customer service, or related roles 

  • Inside sales, energy, logistics, or industrial experience preferred 

  • Construction or heavy equipment knowledge is a strong plus 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a passion for closing deals 

  • Comfortable working in the field and navigating job sites 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or college degree preferred 

  • Valid driver's license 

  • Ability to travel up to 80% within territory (primarily local, some overnight) 

  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb on/off equipment
