Territory Sales Representative – Southeastern Equipment
Location: Jackson, Washtenaw, Hillsdale, Branch, Lenawee, Monroe. (Candidate must live in the territory)
Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt
Travel: Up to 80% field-based within local territory
Compensation: Base Salary 40-55K +Draw 20-40K (Compensation is based on skill set, territory expectations, experience)
Expected first year compensation: 60-95K
Effective Start Date: Two weeks from offer

What You'll Do
As a TSR, you are the face of Southeastern Equipment in your territory. You'll build and maintain strong relationships with customers, guide them through the equipment sales process, and deliver unbeatable service. Your mission is to help our customers win by connecting them with the right equipment and solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow customer accounts within your assigned territory
- Identify and convert new sales opportunities through prospecting and relationship-building
- Promote and explain products and services with confidence and clarity
- Use CRM to track leads, update contact information, and log opportunities
- Collaborate with service, marketing, and credit teams to ensure seamless customer experience
- Participate in on-site customer visits, equipment demos, and industry events

Who You Are
- Early-career professional (0–5 years of experience) ready to step into a high-activity field sales role
- Background in inside sales, energy, logistics, or industrial products preferred
- Construction or heavy equipment experience is a strong plus
- A natural communicator who thrives in social settings and loves working with people
- Highly motivated by earning potential—you're not afraid of hard work to reach your goals
- Comfortable navigating job sites, climbing equipment, and being outdoors in all conditions
- Detail-oriented and tech-savvy, able to manage CRM systems and Microsoft Office
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; technical school or college preferred
- 2–5 years of outside or industrial sales experience preferred
- Valid driver's license required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver around rugged job sites
- Frequent travel (80%) within assigned region; occasional overnight trips for training/events
- Will regularly climb on/off heavy construction equipment
