Senior Manager, Event Marketing

Position Summary:

As a key player in our event marketing team, the Senior Manager, Event Marketing will lead our marketing and promotions efforts for a portfolio of events (virtual and in-person) and TCB research and content to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and attendee engagement.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing initiatives and promotional plans that drive sponsorship, registration, and engagement for portfolio of events, webcasts, podcasts, and thought leadership content, partnering with internal stakeholders to align strategies.
  • Create and implement comprehensive marketing campaigns for portfolio of events, including targeted promotional materials and outreach, in collaboration with the event programming team.
  • Ensure consistent messaging and branding, while aligning timelines with the event programming team.
  • Leverage digital tools such as Google AdWords and Google Analytics to drive results and optimize campaign performance, with support from analytics and web teams as needed.
  • Analyze marketing performance across channels to identify the most effective promotional mix, using insights to enhance efficiency and impact in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Craft and manage compelling content and messaging for digital and traditional channels, including copywriting, scriptwriting, and graphic selection, with support from creative teams.
  • Build and maintain landing pages for events, virtual events, webcasts, and podcasts, collaborating with internal teams to ensure accuracy and user-friendly design.

Qualifications:

  • BA in Marketing or related field, or 5–7 years of equivalent experience in event marketing or a related area.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality marketing materials and B2B campaigns on time and within budget.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills; excels at managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Innovative, self-motivated, and proactive with a hands-on approach; demonstrates creativity, initiative, and the ability to navigate challenges independently.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to craft clear, compelling content and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of digital and email marketing trends; evaluates emerging technologies to drive marketing innovation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel) and online meeting platforms (ON24, Zoom, etc.).
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Strong understanding of event marketing, digital and email marketing, media and advertising, and social media.
