Sondel Family Veterinary Clinic – West 

Sondel Family Veterinary Clinic (SFVC) West is seeking a friendly, organized, and team-oriented Client Care Specialist (CCS) to be the welcoming face of our growing veterinary clinic located on the west side of Madison. This role is ideal for individuals with strong customer service and administrative skills who enjoy working in a fast-paced, animal-focused environment.

As a CCS, you’ll be the first point of contact for clients—both in person and over the phone—and play a key role in supporting the clinic’s daily operations under the guidance of our Lead Client Care Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist clients in a warm, professional manner

  • Answer, triage, and place calls using a multi-line phone system

  • Schedule appointments per protocols

  • Manage emails, including sending and receiving medical records

  • Process payments and balance the cash drawer

  • Sell OTC merchandise and learn product basics

  • Keep the lobby clean and welcoming

  • Attend monthly staff meetings and perform other duties as assigned


Requirements:

  • Required: High school diploma or equivalent; customer service experience; basic computer proficiency

  • Preferred: Experience in veterinary/pet-care setting and/or an office environment


Position Details:

  • Location: 1848 Waldorf Blvd, Madison, WI

  • Hours: 30-40 hours/week

  • Pay: Starting at $16/hr (negotiable based on experience and education)
