Are you a meticulous and energetic housekeeper with a passion for creating beautiful, well-organized spaces? A discerning family on the Upper East Side is seeking a skilled and reliable professional to care for their stunning home.

 

If you’re looking for a long-term role where your expertise and attention to detail are truly appreciated, this opportunity is for you.

 

What You'll Be Doing:

• Daily and deep cleaning: ensure every room is spotless while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness.
• Handle delicate materials like silver, wood, china, crystal, and artwork with care and expertise.
• Manage laundry tasks (there is help for the ironing), keep linens and clothing in top condition, and maintain order throughout the home.
• Oversee grocery shopping, fridge rotation, and pantry organization to ensure fresh and well-stocked supplies.
• Take the lead on special projects and seasonal cleaning to keep the household running smoothly.
• Help with errands as needed and assist in caring for the family’s friendly dog.
• Weekly travel to the Hamptons for one month during the summer, plus occasional trips to the family’s residence in Greenwich, CT.

Who We’re Looking For:

• You have a proven track record as a housekeeper in private homes or luxury settings and know how to care for fine materials.
• You’re proactive, organized, and able to create a plan to keep everything running seamlessly.
• Adaptable and friendly - you thrive in a busy household with children and a dog and can handle a variety of tasks with ease.
• You have a natural ability to interact with others, always maintaining privacy and professionalism.
• A valid driver’s license is required (vehicle not necessary).

 

Schedule:

• Full-time, year-round position
• Generally, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm with flexibility required for some additional hours upon request.

Compensation:

• Compensation of $50-$52 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.  Benefits include a healthcare stipend.
