Position Summary
As a member of the Supply Chain team, Supply Chain/Customer Fulfillment Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving operational excellence through precise and proactive order management. This position serves as a vital connection between sales teams and supply chain execution—ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately, efficiently, and on time. Success in this role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, the ability to navigate constant change, and a commitment to service excellence in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
The typical hiring range for this role is $50,000 to $60,000 annually and is based on several factors such as education, work experience, skills, certifications, location, etc. In addition to pay, Dessert Holdings offers benefits such as a choice of comprehensive medical plans, dental and vision insurance, paid vacation and holidays, and retirement contribution to all eligible employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete order lifecycle to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and customer satisfaction
- Enter, verify, and follow up on customer orders in accordance with company document control procedures
- Serve as the operational liaison within the Supply Chain team—interfacing with Sales, Production Planning, Warehousing, Logistics, Inventory Control, and Finance
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with customers, including replenishment and buying teams
- Coordinate and contribute to month-end, quarter-end, and year-end fiscal close activities, including reconciliation and reporting in collaboration with Finance
- Investigate order discrepancies such as shortages, overages, or delays and communicate resolutions clearly
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve fulfillment challenges and continuously improve service levels
- Deliver timely updates and responsive support to internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs), including fill rate and on-time delivery, to ensure consistent performance against customer expectations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred
- Strong computer skills including MS Excel and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Comfortable working in a rapidly growing and constantly evolving environment
- Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Exceptional attention to detail and adherence to structured processes
- Problem-solving mindset with strong critical thinking skills
- Professional written and verbal communication
