How You'll Help Us Connect the World:

As an Accountant II, you will be responsible for preparing monthly journal entries and account reconciliations, ensuring transactions are recorded in accordance with US GAAP. You will also support payroll and benefits processing and accruals. This position reports to the Accounting Manager and is based virtually in the United States.

You Will Make an Impact By:

• Preparing journal entries for benefit accruals, prepaids, and other general accruals
• Preparing monthly/quarterly account reconciliations
• Analyzing and supporting journal entries and balances on the financial statements
• Collaborating with other Amphenol entities on inter-company billings
• Supporting, processing, and accruing legal invoices
• Supporting the global RPA processes for headcount and bonuses
• Providing financial analysis of monthly fluctuations on the income statement and balance sheet
• Ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company policies
• Supporting internal and external audits
• Assisting with other special projects, as required

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1-5 years of related accounting experience
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively on a team or independently with a track record of delivering results on time with attention to detail
• Ability to work with changing priorities and deadlines
• Ability to act as a change agent to improve processes to promote efficiencies
• Self-motivated
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
