You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing and mentoring a collaborative team, and ensuring every aspect of our store reflects the brand’s values.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and Inspire: Serve as the go-to leader for all floor operations, guiding the team with a positive and supportive approach. You will lead hiring, training, and ongoing coaching to build a confident and cohesive team.
• Elevate the Guest Experience: Ensure every customer feels valued and receives personalized attention. You'll foster an atmosphere of elegance and approachability, handling all customer interactions with genuine thoughtfulness and discretion.
• Drive Operational Excellence: Manage daily opening and closing procedures, maintain store standards for merchandising and cleanliness, and use your excellent problem-solving skills to keep things running smoothly.
• Manage Inventory and Merchandising: Oversee inventory, from receiving shipments to merchandising new arrivals. You'll work with the owner to bring our brand's storytelling to life on the sales floor.

 

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience managing a high-end retail store or boutique.
• Possesses excellent judgment, strong decision-making skills, and a strategic mindset.
• Exhibits the highest level of professionalism, poise, and discretion.
• Is highly proficient with retail technology (Square, MS Suite, scheduling, etc.).
• Understands the importance of confidentiality and assumes ownership of their work.
• Has a long-term intent and is looking to grow with our business.

 

Salary and Benefits

• This is a full-time, salaried position with a compensation range of $40,000 to $50,000 per year. A stipend for healthcare is available.

 

Schedule

• The role averages 40 hours per week over the course of the year, with hours adjusting seasonally to meet business needs.
• In season, the store is open Wednesday to Monday and is closed on Tuesdays. Store hours are 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
• Shoulder seasons, the store is open Thursday – Sunday. Store hours are 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
• From mid-December to the end of February the store is open by appointment only.
