Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic, professional, and hardworking Front Desk Receptionist to join our growing team. This role will work directly with all persons in the Melville office as a point of contact for front desk coverage, calls, mail, faxes, and materials. This role is an in-office position.
Please note that this is not a remote position
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answering phone calls for Melville clinic.
- Maintaining cleanliness and order of clinic.
- Requesting maintenance for the suite.
- Assistance with staffing, intake, provider relations, and internal operations procedures.
- Assistance with quality assurance initiatives such as parent and provider surveys.
- Conducting in-person/phone outreach to potential referral sites as needed.
- Taking and processing of copays, as needed.
- Offering and scheduling makeups for families in clinic.
- Maintaining supply stock.
- Data entry of client information into EMR system.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety standards in the clinic.
- Other duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications and other requirements:
- Front Desk experience is preferred but not required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Organized, professional, and a team player.
- Possesses a positive can-do attitude!
Physical Requirements of the Role:
- Occasionally ascends/descends stairs going to, while at, or leaving work location or facilities traveled to for work events.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time up to 90% of the work day working on a computer/electronic device.
- The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
- The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

Compensation: Part-Time hourly non-exempt $20-23 per hour
Hours: In Office, Monday-Friday 2:00pm-7:30pm
