Plumbing Service Journeyman

Plan Group is hiring a licensed Plumbing Service Journeyman to join our team in Ottawa, ON.

This full-time role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across commercial, residential, and high-rise projects. From diagnosing issues to servicing fixtures, you’ll deliver reliable solutions with a focus on safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

As an Plumbing Service Journeyman, you will:

  • Perform installation, maintenance, and repairs of plumbing systems—including water supply and waste—in residential, commercial, and high-rise environments.
  • Install and service plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters with precision and care.
  • Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues including leaks, clogs, and system malfunctions using effective, code-compliant solutions.
  • Ensure all work adheres to the Ontario Building Code, local regulations, and Plan Group’s safety standards.
  • Accurately document work performed, materials used, and time spent using digital tools such as SharePoint.
  • Complete work orders and timesheets in a timely and organized manner.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients and addressing concerns professionally.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work vehicles in safe, clean, and operational condition.
  • Stay informed on industry advancements, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve performance.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Journeyman Plumber license issued by the Ontario College of Trades.
  • Minimum two years of licensed plumbing experience preferred.
  • Valid G driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable using digital tools such as SharePoint for documentation.
  • Knowledge of Ontario Building Code and local plumbing regulations.
  • Commitment to safety, professionalism, and high-quality workmanship.
