As a City Streets Maintenance Worker, you'll tackle a variety of hands-on tasks to keep our roads, facilities, and equipment in top shape.
No two days are the same, and your work makes a real impact on the community.
What You'll Do:
- Keep Our Streets Safe – Assist with road, sidewalk, and facility maintenance, including snow removal and repairs.
- Maintain & Repair Equipment – Make minor adjustments, replace worn parts, and keep tools in top shape.
- Track & Report Work – Maintain records, complete forms, and submit reports as needed.
- Care for City Greenery – Prune, fertilize, and treat trees and shrubs while safely removing damaged branches.
- Operate Heavy Equipment – Drive dump trucks, snowplows, and bucket trucks to complete essential tasks.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: The starting hourly wage is $20.06 per hour and will increase to $20.86 per hour after 6 months of successful probation.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF EXPERIENCE AND/OR TRAINING
• One (1) year of experience in performing semi-skilled building or mechanical, construction, or grounds maintenance tasks.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND TRAINING
• Concrete finishing experience preferred.
• A Class A or B CDL license is preferred.
• High school graduate or GED equivalent is preferred.
MISCELLANEOUS REQUIREMENTS
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• A passing grade on the written portion of the Class A or B CDL exam is required before employment.
• Pass the driving portion of the Class A or B CDL exam with tanker endorsement within 12 months of being hired into position.
• Have a valid Driver's license and be insurable under the City of Branson's motor vehicle coverage when operating a vehicle as a part of the position.
• Be willing to work snow routes that include 12-hour shifts during the months of November through March.
• Be able to pass a background investigation, drug and alcohol screenings, and a physical agility screening.
WORK HOURS: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Some after hours will be required.
WORK LOCATION: In and around the City of Branson, Missouri; This position requires work to be performed onsite.
