Are you a highly skilled and dedicated Property Manager with an exceptional eye for detail? A busy Palm Beach client is seeking a Property Manager to oversee the complete operations of multiple luxury residences for a private family in Palm Beach and West Palm.

Responsibilities

As the central point of contact, you will be the lynchpin for all property-related matters. Your responsibilities will span a wide range of critical tasks, including:

  • Property Management: Ensure impeccable care of the family's residences, including the main house on Palm Beach island, the West Palm Beach homes, and supporting properties. This involves everything from managing landscape crews and maintaining the irrigation and pool systems to performing hands-on tasks like power washing decks and checking mechanical systems.
  • Team Leadership: Hire train, and supervise all part-time, seasonal, and contract staff. This includes approving timesheets, coordinating with HR, and preparing detailed reports for the family office.
  • Financial Oversight: Draft and manage annual budgets, track cash requirements, and produce monthly variance reports. This position requires a strong financial acumen to ensure all purchases and contracts provide the best value.
  • Vendor and Project Management: Source, hire, and oversee all vendors, from waste removal to tennis court maintenance. Manage special projects, obtain bids, and ensure all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Hospitality Support: Assist the family and their guests during their time in residence. This includes coordinating arrivals and departures, managing ground transportation, and ensuring all residences are immaculate and fully stocked.

This role requires a dedicated professional who is flexible, proactive, and meticulous. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A hands-on approach and a willingness to assist with physical tasks as needed.
  • The ability to manage a team and coordinate with various departments and vendors.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the capacity to track multiple projects and budgets simultaneously.
  • The flexibility to work a varied schedule, including being on call 24/7 when the family is in residence (October through June).
  • A commitment to discretion, professionalism, and upholding a high standard of service.

 

Schedule

  • The schedule varies based on the family's residency.
  • When the family is in residence, you'll be on call 24/7.
  • When they are not in residence, the typical schedule is Monday through Saturday, with every other Sunday required for property checks.
  • Please note that vacation requests are blacked out from October 1st through June 15th.

 

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual base compensation of $140,000-$170,000 with excellent benefits (annual discretionary bonus, health/dental/vision, 401(k), paid holidays, PTO, etc.)
