Electrical Apprentices, Calgary

At Plan Group, we work on landmark projects that push the boundaries of what's possible.  We are expanding our team and seek 6 driven Electrical Apprentices (1st term - 4th term) to work evenings and weekends on-site in Calgary, AB.

This is an exceptional opportunity for you to acquire hands-on experience in a dynamic environment, working alongside a talented team.

As the successful candidate for this role, you will be responsible for a range of electrical installation activities, including but not limited to:

• Installing conduits using a hand, mechanical or hydraulic bender
• Install new wire in existing systems or repair old wiring
• Installing fire alarms, security, lighting controls, data/telecom and energy management systems
• Mounting panel boards, transformers, switchgear, transfer switches and other types of equipment
• Rough in and finish wiring control systems
• Follow all required company and prime contractor safety rules and regulations

To excel in this role, you must be well-versed in all required company and prime contractor safety rules and regulations.

Additionally, you must meet the following experience requirements:

• Registered Apprentice with ITA or another recognised provincial apprenticeship 
• Current WAH (Working at Heights)
• Current WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System)
• Reliable transportation, whether it be through public transit or a bike route.
