Position Summary: Plant Manager
Location: Hamden, CT
 
Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally. Our global headquarters is located in Nashua, NH and we have design, sales and manufacturing locations globally. We are currently seeking a Plant Manager to join our team at Amphenol Spectra-Strip in Hamden, CT. This candidate is responsible for managing all aspects of daily plant operations, including production, quality, safety, and engineering.  
 
Responsibilities:
Ensure daily production targets are met in terms of volume and quality metrics
Manage plant performance metrics and implement actions plans for improvement
Work closely with quality team to ensure compliance with customer and industry standards
Identify process improvements to improve efficiency, throughput, and consistency
Oversee and further develop a team of supervisors, manufacturing, production, and quality personnel 
Work alongside the NPI team to ensure robust product / process development 
 
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Manufacturing or related technical discipline
7+ years of experience in a related manufacturing position
Use data to drive decision making and as a basis for functional management 
Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high growth industry; willing to be hands-on and take initiative
Solid interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to interact well with customers, both internal and external
