Veterinary Technician Lead
Voted Best Veterinary Practice in Plymouth, MN 2021, 2022, and 2024, Rockford Road Animal Hospital is looking to bring on a Veterinary Technician Lead to our Team! We are a progressive, six (soon to be seven!) doctor general practice focused on creating a culture of wellbeing, compassion, and collaboration that extends to all team members. Our core values of Respect, Learning, Fun, and Wow Service with the over-arching value of "Do the Right Thing" are the backbone and framework of how we practice medicine, care for ourselves, each other, our patients, and their families. It is our goal that anyone that walks into our practice, on two legs or four, has the best experience possible.
We take pride in our team and our support staff are highly valued and celebrated for their critical contributions to our team. In addition to exemplary medicine, we maintain a collaborative and collegial working environment that supports continued growth and learning in our hospital at all levels.
We offer great benefits, competitive wages, no Sundays, no holidays, and no overnight shifts. We are also a proud AAHA accredited clinic, and our entire team is working on Fear Free certification.
We are looking to bring on a CVT who would like to take on a leadership position. The Veterinary Technician Lead position involves a combination of administrative, clerical, and supportive duties to ensure the seamless operation of our clinic. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and exceptional communication skills. You will work closely with Rockford Road's leadership team – the Hospital Administrator, Medical Director, and Assistant Hospital Administrator. You will be on the floor helping to coordinate activities amongst the team, offering support to the team where needed, and acting as a line of communication between the veterinarians and the veterinary team. Training oversight of all team members will be expected with this position as well.
