Shop Foreman- Clayton, IN

Martin Transportation Systems has an opening for a Shop Manager at our Indianapolis terminal. This position would be overseeing a 3-shift operation, of about 12+ employees. Standard day hours from 8:00a.m. – 5:00p.m.

REQUIRMENTS:

• ASE certified required or equivalent experience

• Fluent use of Class 8 software for tractors and trailers

• Knowledge and experience with the following engine systems:

  • Cummins
  • Detroit

• Knowledge of different tires & cost of maintaining tires on tractors and trailers

• Cost of maintaining tractors and trailers

• Maintain and preserve proper inventory management
  
  Position Qualifications:

• Professionalism--in both employee management and customer service

• Transportation or automotive management experience

• Knowledge of compliance with OSHA and DOT regulations

• Demonstrated track record of achievement and success

• Competitive and driven to succeed
