Position Summary: Interoperability Engineering Manager

Location: Nashua, NH

Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally. We are seeking an Interoperability Engineering Manager to join our High Speed Cables team in Nashua, NH.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead team of engineers responsible for interoperability validation of high-speed cable assemblies
• Develop and implement comprehensive interoperability test plans for our global High Speed Cables team
• Collaborate with signal integrity, mechanical, and product development teams to resolve system-level compatibility issues and optimize performance.
• Drive compliance testing and certification with industry standards organizations
• Identify and troubleshoot issues related to interoperability, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
• Ensure compatibility and seamless integration with various switch, server, and GPU platforms
• Collaborate with external partners and customers to validate interoperability across third-party systems
• Prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and external partners
• Continuously enhance interoperability testing processes to increase efficiency and coverage

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in a technical leadership role related to interoperability testing or related fields
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, signal integrity, and system-level testing
• Strong demonstrated experience with interoperability testing tools and platforms
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in cross-functional and dynamic team environments
