The Opportunity
As part of our strategic growth, we're launching a personal insurance division, FCT Insurance, and seeking an experienced, service-driven Medicare Representative to lead our Medicare solutions. This role blends the freedom of an entrepreneurial opportunity with the stability and purpose of serving credit union members. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives on building relationships, wants the upside of an entrepreneurial opportunity, and is inspired by the chance to truly serve and improve members' lives.

Compensation: This role offers a base salary plus commission for the first three years of employment. Beginning in year four, compensation will transition to a 100% commission-based structure.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as a trusted Medicare resource and subject matter expert.
  • Collaborate and build trusting relationships with FCT's advisors, clients, credit union partners and their members.
  • Drive awareness and enrollment in Medicare plans through grassroots, educational outreach.
  • Host and conduct in-person seminars, webinars, and other educational events in partnership with credit unions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and credit union partners to identify outreach opportunities and enhance member engagement.
  • Conduct one-on-one consultations (in-person, virtual or by phone) to educate clients on Medicare plan options.
  • Identify and qualify clients for eligibility.
  • Assist with enrollments and maintain detailed client documentation.
  • Stay current on Medicare product offerings, industry updates, and plan changes and regulations.
  • Maintain compliance with Centers for Medicare and Medicare Services (CMS) guidelines, including marketing.

What We're Looking For

  • Active Health & Life Insurance Licenses in Iowa.
  • Product and subject matter expertise across Medicare plans (Advantage, Supplement, and/or Part D).
  • Familiarity with credit unions or financial institutions is a plus.
  • Proven track record as a successful sales representative.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage a flexible schedule, and travel within Iowa (~50%).
