Certified Veterinary Technician - ER

South Metro Animal Emergency Care is a 24/7 AAHA-accredited emergency veterinary hospital in Apple Valley, MN. We're part of the Lakefield Veterinary Group, and we're growing our team of Veterinary Technicians  who are passionate about client service and animal care. If you have worked in general practice, emergency, or specialty medicine and are looking for a meaningful way to continue your professional development while utilizing all your skills and knowledge – this is an exceptional opportunity that might be right for you. We are looking for part-time for day shifts.

About You:

• Credentialed veterinary technician with strong technical skills.
• Advocate for patients, and clients, answer client's questions and address their concerns; readily demonstrate empathy for clients in stressful and emotionally driven moments.
• Willingness to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members!
• Obtain health history from clients and ensure documentation is accurate and complete within Cornerstone and SmartFlow sheets.
• Constantly advance your knowledgebase and skill set.

Anticipated Schedule:

• Day shift availability.
• 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts available.
