  • Supervise existing vendors and contractors; source and vet new service providers as needed.
  • Maintain and track seasonal checklists (HVAC, irrigation, pool, tennis courts, etc.).
  • Conduct daily walkthroughs and property inspections to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Assist housekeeping and other staff with physical tasks (e.g., moving furniture, assembling items, changing lightbulbs).
  • Manage inventory of repair and maintenance supplies and tools; reorder as needed.
  • Provide hands-on support for various tasks including car washing, Costco runs, preparing outdoor furniture, filling bicycle tires, or setting up a Christmas tree.
  • Maintain accurate logs of repairs, services, and budgets; report to the House or Estate Manager.
  • Collaborate closely with broader household staff to prepare the home for family and guest arrivals.
  • Travel to the family’s NYC residence on occasion to assist with maintenance or special requests.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of private estate or high-end residential maintenance experience

  • Able to work independently and with discretion
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Authorized to work in the U.S
  • Long-term career mindset; seeking stability and growth within a private household
