Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) with a strong background in anesthesia and patient monitoring to join our Dentistry team. This position is ideal for a technician who is confident in anesthesia management and passionate about supporting advanced dental and oral surgery procedures. You will be a critical member of the service, ensuring patient safety and comfort from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities

Administer and monitor anesthesia during advanced dental procedures, ensuring patient safety throughout induction, maintenance, and recovery.

Anticipate and respond to anesthetic complications with confidence and composure.

Perform dental radiographs, charting, scaling, and polishing as needed.

Provide compassionate pre- and post-procedure care for dentistry patients.

Educate and support clients with dental home care and treatment plans.

Maintain anesthesia and dental equipment, ensuring readiness and reliability.

Collaborate with the Dentistry DVM and cross-functional PSVSE team members.
What We’re Looking For

Current Washington State LVT license (or eligibility to obtain).

2+ years of anesthesia experience strongly preferred (specialty or dentistry experience a plus).

Strong knowledge of anesthetic drugs, monitoring equipment, and pain management.

Detail-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a specialty hospital environment.

Excellent communication skills with both clients and team members.
