Brand Manager
Summary
The Brand Manager will direct the development, coordination, and execution of all marketing, branding and proposal efforts for Equix and its subsidiaries. The Brand Manager is responsible for the company’s image, creating compelling proposal content, drafting capability statements and ensuring that all websites and marketing materials remain current, relevant, and aligned with business goals. In short, the Brand Manager will “own” how Equix and its affiliates are reflected in the market.This role partners closely with business development, project management, and operations teams to produce compelling proposals, qualifications packages, and marketing materials that position the company as a leader in the construction industry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Proposal Development
- Lead the preparation of RFPs, RFQs, SOQs, and bid responses, ensuring compliance with client requirements and deadlines
- Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and technical staff to gather information, project details, and value propositions
- Write, edit, and design proposals that effectively communicate the company’s capabilities and differentiators
- Maintain a proposals library with updated resumes, project profiles, and company information
Marketing & Branding
- Develop and maintain marketing collateral, including brochures, capability statements, presentations, and digital content
- Oversee the company’s online presence (company website, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms)
- Coordinate photography, case studies, and project highlight materials to showcase company work
- Support brand consistency across internal and external communications
Website
- Maintain and update the company’s website from a marketing perspective to ensure accuracy, relevance and alignment with brand messaging
Strategic Support
- Partner with business development leadership to support client engagement strategies
- Conduct market research on competitors, industry trends, and upcoming opportunities
- Assist in planning and executing trade shows, conferences, and client events
- Track proposal outcomes and provide reporting on win rates, trends, and continuous improvement opportunities

Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field or equivalent industry experience will be considered
- 5+ years of marketing or proposals experience in the construction, engineering, or architecture industry
- Strong technical writing and editing skills; ability to translate technical input into persuasive client-focused messaging
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and CRM/proposal management tools
- Highly organized with ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Must possess the ability to work well in team setting as well as under minimal instruction
- Strong organizational skills, high level of accuracy and be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must have high level of confidentiality and a good understanding of general business practices

Physical Requirements
- Sit, stand and walk continuously throughout the scheduled workday

- Ability to visit job sites, which may involve exposure to outdoor and industrial environments
- Lift up to 25 lbs. on occasion
- Must work in a manner that will not jeopardize the health and safety of him/herself or others
